Jim Garlock (California)
Known to have painted for many years - some of his early works were featured in galleries when he was younger (mid 20th Century). Signed several of his works, "Garlock". Currently painting in 2010 and could be considered an up and coming contemporary plein air painter. Several of his works include flowering mountain landscapes of the Southern California area. Painting subjects include: the California foothills Claremont area ("Hills Above Claremont") and also the San Gabriel mountain area. A recent standout piece is titled "Lake Chabot Springtime, SF East Bay Hills, Jim Garlock 2010" and also a scene in the Sierras mountains called "Mt. Tom, Bishop California Jim Garlock 2010". His works are all very colorful and light focused with early California plein air influence. A talented painter and one to watch.

Lynn Gertenbach (b1940) (Calabasas, California)
Signature member of the PAPA (Plein Air Painters of America) 2001. Painted and traveled with watercolorist Arul Raj who specialized in painting India. Impressionist painter. In 1986, she was a founding member of PAPA (Plein Air Painters of America). Member of the Oil Painters of America and California Art Club. In 1995, she won a first prize award for painting (California Art Club San Juan Capistrano show).

Wallace Graham (California)

Wallace Graham was known to have worked in the Art Department for Woody Allen's 1972 film "All You Ever Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid To Ask". He was a designer for Gillian's Island and was known to have worked on the art backgrounds and set design. He was also active with MGM Studios and worked on Michael Landon's "Highway to Heaven" in the Art Department as the construction foreman. He painted fine art in his leisure. Signed his work "W. Graham". A fine realist painter.

Heine Hartwig (b1937)
Recent one man show and exhibition at the Vault Gallery in Sonora, California (Sept.2007). The exhibition included his popular American Indian scenes as well as a showcased large Yosemite Valley oil, a variety of seascapes, and a few abstracts. Hartwig was born in 1937 and became active as an artist after 1970. Heinie Harwig's work has been compared to the style of Albert Bierstadt and John Constable for its romantic view, European feel, and realist composition and style. His work has been gaining in popularity over the past few years. Hartwig has a growing auction record and has exhibited at local galleries. His work is often mentioned as "our very collectible artist" when asking about his paintings at the local gallery.

William Edward Hawkins (b1962) (Tucson, Arizona)
Southwest artist that is very popular on auction sites such as Ebay. Known for vivid cloud work in his paintings of cow landscapes. Work shown at the Kolb Studio Museum (Grand Canyon). Painter of clouds and tonalist landscapes often with focus on the sky.

Carolyn Hess-Low (California)
Contemporary plein air painter. Works featured in national publications such as Southwest Art and Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine (Publishers Choice Award). In 2009, Hess-Low won the Presidents Award 2009 California Art Club and the Best of Show 2009 Award (Sedona 5th Annual Plein Air Invitational). Carolyn Hess Low is also a member of several art groups such as the National Watercolor Society, American Impressionist Society, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, and the California Art Club. Her work has also been exhibited at the Pasadena Museum of California Art, Laguna Art Museum (Laguna Plein Air Invitational), San Diego Maritime Museum, and the Ventura County Maritime Museum. A fine artist and one to watch...

Bob Hockenberry ( R.J. Hockenberry ) (Palm Springs, California)

California painter of animals and Palm Springs desert scenes and landmarks. Signs his work "Hockenberry" and "R.J. Hockenberry". Known to have painted various Palm Springs landmarks (Windham and La Quinta Hotels). Bob Hockenberry was also known to have painted backgrounds for Disney Studios and later settled in the desert area to paint and create sculpture in fiberglass. He also had a studio / gallery in the Palm Springs area.

Jeffery C. Horn (b1947) (Irvine, California)
Painted an important series of "homeless" portraits. His work has been featured in art publications such as Southwest Art, Art of The West, and American Artist. Exhibited his landscape work at the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. In 2005 a two man show was held with Jeffery Horn and Gil Dellinger (held at the Michael Zschoche Gallery). Received Third Place Award at the California Art Club 89th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition. Award winning artist at the Laguna Beach Museum in 1980 (First Place Award).
