Ezra Katz (California / Cabo San Lucas - Mexico)

Originally from Corpus Cristi, Texas. Currently living in both Mexico and California. Well known for plein air cityscape and city life paintings - Katz work is popular in Cabo San Lucas local hotels and tourist dining spots. Saturated color and bright reflections can be seen in most of his work - a talented artist. In 2008, Ezra Katz had a gallery in Baja California Sur, Mexico - which is now closed. His work has been shown in National art publications such as Southwest Art (2003, 2004).

Pat M. Kelly (b1952) (Ramona, California)

Work has been sold at major California auction houses. Known for contemporary plein air Western landscapes, Carmel scenes, and horse and cowboy subject matter. Starting showing work in 1995 and signs his paintings - "P.M. Kelly". Member of the California Art Club. Exhibited at the 2006 California Art Club Gold Medal Exhibition Pasadena Museum of California Art.

Laurie Kersey (Pebble Beach, California)

Plein air painter. Recently received award for best local artist at the Carmel Art Festival Plein Air Competition. In 2008, Laurie Kersey won the Maurice Braun award for painting at the Torrey Pines Plein Air Invitational. Her work has been shown in National art magazines such as Southwest Art, Plein Air Magazine, and American Artist.

John Kilduff (California)

Kilduff is a plein air painter of the urban cityscape. His recent city view painting of Los Angeles could be considered his best work yet ("MULHOLLAND VIEW LOS ANGELES"). Kilduff promotes his painting skills via a cable show called "Lets Paint TV" - now playing in the Los Angeles area. Kilduff's work was also shown at the Koplin Gallery in Santa Monica (1990). In 2000, his work was shown at the Ojala Gallery in Los Angeles. He also exhibited in 2002 at the Brand Library in Glendale, California. One to watch.

Michael Kirschel (Mountain View, California)

Active in Mountain View, California. Teaches art privately at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto. Pupil of Sergei Bongart. Kirschel won first prize at the Society of Western Artists Annual in 2006.

Paul Kratter (California)

Outdoor plein air painter - East Bay / San Francisco painter. Current interest in hiking and painting the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. In August of 2009, Paul Kratter's work will be shown at the Napa Valley Art Festival. His influence of Edgar Payne and Sam Hyde Harris can be seen in his work. A talented painter and one to watch...

Greg LaRock (Newport Beach, California)

Plein air artist based in Newport Beach. Member of the Laguna Beach Plein Air Painters Association, California Art Club, and Oil Painters of America. Award winning artist. Some of LaRock's awards include winning First Prize at the San Clemente Plein Air Competition (San Clemente Art Gallery). He also received First Prize at the 2008 Easton Plein Air event in Maryland and won First Place at Newport Bay Naturalist 2008 Mural Competition. LaRock also won First Prize at the San Clemente Plein Air Competition (San Clemente Art Gallery). Works have been featured in Southwest Art's "Artist to Watch" in 2006. His works can be described as realistic yet loose plein air impressionist style.

Parker Lee Leibsohn (Parker Lee) (1924-1995) (California Modernism)

Known for his unique semi-abstract style and mid 20th Century abstract California work. Parker Lee was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; he later lived in Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City, and then in 1957 moved to California. In the late 1950s he became active in Los Angeles and began to work with Martin Lowitz who helped to make Lee's work popular with Holllywood celebrities. Known for impressionist abstract style, his work was sold and featured at the Martin Lowitz gallery in Beverly Hills, California. Roberto Lupetti (1917-1997) (Carmel, California)

Important Carmel California realist. Born in Milan, Italy. Studied at the Royal Academy in Rome, Italy. After the end of second world war, he moved to San Francisco and taught art and eventually settled in Carmel in the mid 1970s. He painted several Rabbi portraits, female nudes, portraits of pretty young women, classical architecture, and still life. He also had a studio on Ocean Ave. in Carmel, California (Roberto Lupetti Fine Art Studio). Signed his work "Roberto Lupetti". Could be considered one of the foremost 20th Century realist painters in California.

Taylor Lynde (b1970) (Montana)

Active in Montana as a plein air realist painter. His work is often described as "honest impressionism". Lynde's work tells a story or historical view of today's Western rural landscape. Some of his work includes people in activity and/or what the scene really looked like at the time. Referenced in art magazines such as: Southwest Art Publications (2000, 2002). Paints the beauty of nature, the American landscape, life scenes.
